E90 or F80? I currently have a 2012 VW GTI Coupe and i've been getting the itch to buy a new car. I do occasional track days and while the GTI is awesome fun on the track I'm definitely jealous of the M3's and RWD at the track. I'm torn between a used f80 ($55-$65k) or an E90 ($20-$40k).

Overall I am happy with the M3. If I went directly from E90 to F80, I'd be miserable. But after seeing the F10, I am telling myself, this is the better of the worst. I know e92 would be run about 20k plus inspections and maintenance. It would be round up to 40k for all mods and more toys in the long period. F80 would be around 50k one time plus.

Although the NEW M3 MAY ACTUALLY HANDLE BETTER, first and second gear are useless when putting your foot to the floor. 3) The E60 M5 had alot of short falls for a $ 100,000.00 car compared to the F10 M5. Although the F10 M5 IS HEAVIER THAN THE E 60 M5 IT IS NOT VERY MUCH HEAVIER.
